CODES OF BACH
The performance CODES OF BACH combines baroque music and contemporary dance. Originates from Concerto D minor — BWV 1052, composition for harpsichord and string orchestra, by the baroque composer J.S. Bach. In the performance we work with the coded
principles of the score and its translation into contemporary music and dance. By finding principles in the “coding” of the score, we work with the relationships between music and dance, between individual layers of music and layers of movement material, and relationships between the Baroque and the present.
