FESTIVAL DISCOUNT

1. Discount of 25% for pensioners, disabled persons, students and teachers – applicable only for sectors 1, 2, 3 and 4.  In case of using this discount, you agree the relevant confirming document could be the subject of control upon entry.

2. Quantity festival discount – 25% discount in case of purchasing 5 tickets. For larger quantities, please contact: bruno.kiss@symfoniaumenia.sk . In case of multiple purchase of tickets the combination of event is possible. 

3. Discount applicable for Ružinov district residents - 50%. In case of using this discount, you agree your identity card could be the subject of control upon entry. The discount only applies for sectors 1, 2, 3 and 4. 

The discount shall be applied in the e-basket after selecting the tickets at full price.

LOVE SONNETS
Prose, music, poetry in a symphonic version

José Cura, the world-famous tenor from Argentina, is a guest of the festival for the third time. Last years he presented himself as a singer and conductor in operatic and popular positions. This time we meet him as a composer. José Cura is deeply addressed by the relationship between Pablo Neruda, winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, and Matilda Urruti. Neruda captured all his passion and love in his 100 love sonnets. In 2006, in honor of Pablo and Matilda´s great love, he composed the musical-dramatic work “If I die, survive me”. Cura set 7 nocturnal sonnets into music and is also the author of Matilda's lines that will be recited by Slovak actress Emília Vášaryová. The second half of the concert will be dedicated to the music of José´s native Argentina.

Taking into regard the character of the event, the organizer reserves the right to refuse the entry in case of inappropriate clothing. No entrance is allowed as of the concert starts.

In case of unsuitable weather as of the concert starts the entrance fee will not be refunded.
