ALASH (Tuva) are masters of Tuvan throat singing, a remarkable technique for singing multiple pitches at the same time. Alash are deeply committed to traditional Tuvan music and culture. At the same time, they are fans of western music. Believing that traditional music must constantly evolve, the musicians subtly infuse their songs with western elements, creating their own unique style that is fresh and new, yet true to their Tuvan musical heritage.

RAMI SHAAFI (UK, SK) is a multi-instrumentalist and a master of overtone and throat singing working in the field of sound therapy for about 24 years.Together with his wife Ivana they create a duo called RAMIVANA. They travel extensively offering workshops, educational concerts, therapeutic Sound Journeys as well as selling meditation CDs and music instruments from around the world. They are working with people of all ages and states of health and performing in festivals, concerts and teaching overtone singing, Khoomei Mongolian throat singing and  traditional music instruments from around the world.
